Britannia Leatherbarrows & Storage relocates thousands of people to the Channel Islands every year. We have been assisting our clients with the shipping of their effects to the Channel Islands for over forty years.
The Channel Islands have been a favourite destination for British Expats for decades. The Channel Islands themselves are an archipelago of British Crown Dependencies that are located in the English Channel. They are made up of eight islands but the main inhabited islands are Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark. There are two separate Bailiwicks in the Channel Islands, the Bailiwick of Jersey and the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The islands are located close to the Normandy coast of France and they are not classed as being part of the United Kingdom and are not members of the European Union. They are made up of independent administrations but are still possessions of the British Crown and the inhabitants of all of the islands are classed as British citizens.
